How can we help?

For help with Listen, email hello@getlisten.co. Include your device, iOS or macOS version, and what happened. If a particular article will not play, include its public link if you are comfortable sharing it. Never send your sign-in code or payment details.

Listen in Safari on iPhone

1. Install Listen, then open its Safari setup screen.
2. In Settings, open Apps → Safari → Extensions → Listen and turn the extension on. On earlier iOS versions, Safari is directly in Settings.
3. Allow Listen on the websites you want it to read, then refresh your article.
4. Tap the circular Play button beneath the article headline. Use the speed control to change the pace, or the bookmark button to save it.

Listen needs access to the article text. It cannot unlock paywalls or private posts. Pages with unusual layouts may not support automatic article extraction.

Bring a link from another app

Share an article or an X post to Listen using the iPhone share sheet. Open Listen, wait for the post or article to load, and press Play. Some websites require you to sign in before the text is available.

Accounts and saved articles

Use the same Listen account on iPhone and Mac to sync saved articles and reading positions. Email sign-in uses a one-time code. Check your spam folder and use the most recent code, or sign in with Apple in the native app.

Natural AI narration and account sync need an internet connection. Bookmarking saves an article for later; it does not download a complete offline audio file.

Listen Pro and billing

Your free account includes 2,000 narrated words each week, shared across devices. Where available, Listen Pro offers monthly and annual subscriptions. The price and billing period shown by Apple at checkout apply.

Manage or cancel an Apple subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Use Restore purchases in Listen while signed in to the Listen account associated with the purchase. Deleting the Listen app or account does not cancel your Apple subscription. For Apple purchase refunds, visit Apple’s refund service.

Delete your account or request your data

Open Account in the Listen app and choose Delete account. For help accessing, correcting, or deleting your data, email hello@getlisten.co from the email associated with your Listen account. We may ask you to verify ownership. Read the privacy policy for details.
